A richly coloured snake damask Serpenti is an original piece of artwork drawn in the Harlequin studio. Inspired by treasures traded along the silk route such as luxurious textiles and jewels it juxtaposes with one of natures most feared animals. Produced on cotton velvet and emerized cotton the designs heavily saturated colours highlight the decorate beauty of a snakes delicate skin.
