DecoratorsBest is open Monday to Friday from 9AM to 6PM Eastern Standard Time. Orders/Payments

Do you have stock?
DecoratorsBest does not carry any stock. All orders are  shipped directly from the manufacturer.

How can I place an order?
DecoratorsBest accepts orders online and by telephone. When an order is complete, an e-mail notification will be sent to you confirming your order and giving you a Purchase Order (PO) number.

Prices may be subject to change.
Manufacturers may change their prices without notifying DecoratorsBest. If your order has been placed and there is a price increase we will notify you.

Quantity
In the Quantity section (QTY), fabric is sold by the yard (1 = 1 yard) and wallpaper is sold by the roll (1 = 1 roll). Grasscloth wallpaper and a few other types of wallpaper are sold by the yard (1 = 1 yard) and will be specified on the product page.

What is your minimum order?
The minimum order is one yard or roll. However, certain manufacturers and certain products have larger minimums as specified on each product page.

What forms of payment do you accept?
DecoratorsBest accepts American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover for U.S. Orders Only . We do not accept cash, checks or money orders.

When will I receive my order?
If a product is available it will arrive within a normal 5-7 day period. For products shipping from outside the U.S., ETA is a normal 7-10 business day period.  

What happens if my product is on backorder?
DecoratorsBest will notify all customers if a product is backordered and will only process the order upon approval by the customer of the backorder date. Because the order will ship directly from the manufacturer, DecoratorsBest will process your payment at the time your order is placed. If the customer wants to cancel the order because of the backorder date, their credit card will be refunded.

Sales Tax
DecoratorsBest is situated in New York and there is a NY State sales tax. Some manufacturers have showrooms in several locations and sales tax might be charged for the specific area where a customer is located. Sales tax will be added during checkout and you will receive notification on your invoice. We do not know if sales tax will be charged until we are going through checkout.

Order Cancellations
If we can cancel the order before shipment from the manufacturer, there will be a full refund. However if the order has shipped, there will be a 25% restocking fee plus shipping charges in both directions. The order will be subject to the specific manufacturer's return policy.

Do I get a refund if my order is damaged?
If your product is damaged from the manufacturer or from shipping, please click here to upload a picture of the damaged area. You will receive a replacement product if available.

What is your return policy for undamaged items?
DecoratorsBest only accepts returns on damaged products or uncut fabric and wallpaper. All sales become final after 30 days. All returns (except damaged merchandise) with the manufacturer’s permission will be subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of York orders, which will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for shipping costs in both directions for all returns of undamaged merchandise.

Every manufacturer has their own policy, so we will check with them for their company policies.   

Clarence House does not accept any returns unless damaged.

Cole & Sons only accepts returns of a minimum of 5 yards or 5 rolls.

Duralee accepts returns of 6 yards or more with a 25% restocking fee plus $25 shipping.

Fabricut only accepts returns of a minimum of 6 yards or 6 rolls.

Greenhouse only accepts returns of 5 yards or more.

Kravet only accepts returns of a minimum of 5 yards or 5 rolls.

Lee Jofa only accepts returns of a minimum of 5 yards or 5 rolls.

Norwall accepts returns with a 2 roll minimum and 25% restocking fee. There is a $25 return shipping charge.

Phillip Jeffries does not accept returns on wallpaper unless damaged.

Pindler & Pindler only accepts returns of a minimum of 5 yards of multipurpose fabric or 10 yards of drapery fabric.

Ralph Lauren fabric, leather, and trim are final sale and may note be returned for credit.  Uncut double rolls of wallcovering in their original wrappings may be returned for credit subject to a 25% restocking charge within 30 days of purchase.  Single rolls may not be returned for credit. 

Robert Allen accepts returns of 6 yards or more with a 25% restocking fee plus $25 shipping.

Schumacher fabric items have a minimum of 6 yards for returns. Uncut double rolls of wallcovering in their original wrappings may be returned for credit subject to a 25% restocking charge within 30 days of purchase.  Single rolls may not be returned for credit.

Scalamandre only accepts returns of a minimum of 10 yards or 2 rolls.

York only accepts returns of a 2 roll minimum and charges a 30% restocking fee.


First Quality Merchandise


First Quality Merchandise guarantees that our clients are getting their new  products directly from the manufacturers. All purchases are shipped to you or your workroom directly from them. You are assured of first quality merchandise – no impostors or "seconds" here!


We can send fabrics directly to your workroom.


Samples


What is the difference between a sample and a cutting?
A sample comes from a random dye lot and its purpose is for you to determine if you want that particular design. A cutting (or CFA) is for the purpose of matching colors. It is much smaller than a sample and comes from the specific dye lot that you will receive when you place an order and specifically request a CFA.

Can I keep samples?
Samples are on loan and you may keep them until you are finished with them. However, when you are finished with them it is important to return them to the proper manufacturer.

What sizes do samples come in?
All samples are meant for interior designers’ usage and are very generous. A large pattern will be a large rectangle for you to visualize it accurately. A solid pattern will be an adequate size to view the pattern.

Why are samples priced?
The $5 Sample Fee is a processing fee and is non refundable unless you do not receive your sample. All samples are ordered online.

Can I track my samples?
Manufacturers often mail the samples via USPS and tracking is not available.

Is overnight or 2nd day shipping available?
DecoratorsBest offers overnight and 2nd day shipping options that are listed at checkout.  Please note that the following brands are not available for expedited shipping:
Cole & Son, Osbourne & Little, Pierre Frey, and Zoffany.

How are products shipped?
All products are shipped FedEx or UPS unless otherwise requested.

DecoratorsBest sends automatic shipping notifications for the following brands:
Fabricut, York, Kravet, Pindler & Pindler and all brands under them.

Lost Packages

If your package is lost, please notify is immediately via phone or email.

Returns from Shipping Damage

Contact returns@decoratorsbest.com and we will e-mail you the RETURN AUTHORIZATION information from the shipper.  DecoratorsBest will handle everything for you.


International Orders


Note: Canada is considered international.

Using the International Checkout Service

DecoratorsBest has partnered with International Checkout , a trusted third party company, to process and ship our international orders. International Checkout will place the order with DecoratorsBest on your behalf, receive it at their depot, and then ship it directly to you. They will process all aspects of your entire order, including billing, shipping and customer service. To use this service, add the items you’ve selected to your DecoratorsBest Shopping Cart and choose the “International Checkout” option. Your cart information will be transferred to International Checkout for processing. Please pay International Checkout for your DecoratorsBest order using your international credit card.



International Checkout will send you an email confirmation. Upon completion of your order, please direct all inquiries to International Checkout at support@internationalcheckout.com

There are NO returns for International Orders.

Wallpaper sizes vary, so please check the size before ordering.

1 foot = 0.3048 meters

1 yard = 0.9144 meters

To help protect against unauthorized disclosure of the information you share with us, DecoratorsBest limits employee access to our customer files. All personal customer information is transmitted via a secure connection and maintained on a secure server that is administered by a service provider who has agreed not to disclose to third parties confidential information received from DecoratorsBest. We take the security of your personal data extremely seriously, and provide top of the line security services throughout the checkout process. We do not keep your credit card information on file.
