When interior designer Barbara Karpf launched DecoratorsBest in 2004 it was the very first e-commerce company to offer “To the Trade Only” exclusive products to consumers. Barbara founded it upon her principle that everyone deserves a beautiful home and great customer service. An extensive selection of designer fabric and wallpaper was now available to everyone at great prices.
House Beautiful recognized Barbara as a Visionary for 2020. BACK IN 2004, when DecoratorsBest.com launched, it was the first e-commerce site allowing everyday people to buy trade-only fabrics and wallpaper.. (more)
Barbara Karpf is an interior-designer-turned-entrepreneur. Through her company, DecoratorsBest, she has combined her artistic sense with the business world to bring first quality designer fabric & wallpaper to the general public. Before founding DecoratorsBest, Barbara graduated from The New York School of Interior Design and Brandeis University. She then spent over 20 years as an interior designer, working in New York City and the Hamptons.
Mrs. Karpf was in "Who's Who in Interior Design", was selected as one of the "Great Designers of the World 2000.” And her projects have been featured in numerous national publications. Today Barbara works passionately as president & founder of DecoratorsBest to further develop her business and revolutionize the interior decor industry.
